This new album on Digby's own label 'Rose Cottage Records' is his first on-record celebration of authentic New Orleans jazz, recorded in the company of Dave Claridge's Jazz Band, during a live concert at the Southend Jazz Festival l992.

"Playing real New Orleans-style jazz", says Digby, "is something I love to do. But there's been little chance to re-visit this great music since the early l970s when I was a regular part of DaveClaridge's wonderful George Lewis-style band. Nobody knew that this reunion concert - held twenty years later - had been recorded at all. But then tapes came to light and the result is some of the best and most honest music I've had a chance to put on record!"
