However if you are travelling to Chipstead FC it’s best to go to Coulsdon South where there is a District Cars cab office and you should be able to get a cab to the ground for about £5 and book a return journey. Beware though! -if you travel to Chipstead Station there is NO cab office and it is about 1.1/2 miles to the ground, up a very steep and narrow hill with NO pavements or street lights.

There’s plans afoot to commission a major piece of sculpture to be set in Brecon, George’s longtime stomping-ground and fishing-waters where he once owned a castle (and a stretch of the River Usk!).
