LOUIS AND FATS MAKE IT TO THE CRICKETERS!

Tonight at the Cricketers we celebrate the music of two of jazz’s supreme citizens: Louis ‘Satchmo’ Armstrong and the equally great (in all senses!) Thomas ‘Fats’ Waller – Harlem’s ‘Harmful Little Armful’! Playing lots of their most famous tunes and songs we have a (truly) all-star ensemble at the club tonight: JULIAN MARC STRINGLE (reeds/vocals); the great ADRIAN FRY (late of┬áthe Terry Wogan Show making his first visit to the club) (trombone/vocals) TIM HUSKISSON (piano) ROGER CURPHEY (bass) and handsome ALAN CLARKE (drums)! You’ll hear all the greatest hits from Fats and Pops – everything from ‘My very good friend the milkman’ to ‘What a wonderful world’ – and think up some requests too! To book for Carlo’s classic cuisine call Cassie/Christina (all the ‘Cs’!) on 01702 345053 – and don’t forget free parking behind ‘My Local’ just across the road from 7pm.
